Samui Soundworks was founded in 2025 by Giles Larkman, a passionate and experienced DJ whose relationship with music spans more than two decades. Giles began his DJing career in the late 1990s, performing in local bars and clubs, where he honed his ability to read a crowd and create unforgettable atmospheres through music.
After relocating to Koh Samui in 2006, Giles pursued a successful career in international education, serving as both a teacher and leader for nearly 20 years. Yet throughout those years, one passion remained constant: music. Eventually, the pull to return to the world of sound became impossible to ignore, and Samui Soundworks was born—built on a deep love for music and a desire to help people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
